![]() ![]() I am thinking I should probably start with what the Chevy is out of. I don't have a tach in the car, but I do have a timing light with a tach. I ran it for 5-10 minutes and then tried to drive around the block. It died repeatedly even after it warmed up. Today it was just below 60 deg F and I couldn't get it to idle without pressing the gas pedal down to increase the rpm greatly. Now, it can barely idle, so I am thinking it is not just the choke issue. I am in Virginia/DC area and it began to run rough at idle about 4 months ago and I attributed it to cold weather, but even after it warmed up it still ran rough. It came out of LA and didn't need a choke. I bought the 40 last year, started up fairly well with 2-4 pumps of the gas pedal. ![]() I have a '75 w/Chevy 350 with a Edelbrock Performer intake and Edelbrock 1405 carb with no choke on it. ![]()
